In the Heathers
With the highest regard for human experience these works delve in to the torturous and tumultuous experience of inhabiting one’s own skin. Exploring universal themes of love, disdain, heartbreak, and joy, I seek to express the tensions and contradictions that define our shared humanity. Drawn in Quebec wool with meticulous hand punch needle and tufting gun I create planes in which the gaze can find a moment of rest, or be aroused, a universe where narratives emerge, unravel, and tumble away. Through planes of vibrant colour, or realms subsumed by silence, I invite the viewer to fall with me.

Spellbound
Spellbound depicts the need to reconnect to one’s self, conjure life-giving environments, nectars and energies. It’s about dreams and symbols, their potencies, and meanings; It’s about planting feet in the earth and holding all senses at attention.
